Hi everyone,
It’s the last week of June.
I love end of the month ‘cause it does mean me going to get my new salary soon. (= KEKEKE
And so, it’s time to plan for my new shopping list.
Before I list them out, please let me to show you am it you are a victim of Aseem’s Law.
“IF A WOMAN CAN BUY IT, IT WILL BE BOUGHT”
Are you a shopaholic?
Did you spending more than half of your new salary just settling the bills?
钱不够用?
If this sounds familiar you too are a victim of Aseem’s Law (Let’s high five).
Bags, Dresses and Shoes.
WHAT'S YOUR SHOPPING TRIP BUDGET?
Remember that every shopping trip gives pleasure and shopping often is better than shopping seldom. Hence what you need to do is to create a shopping trip budget. Define how much of your income you will spend on shopping – my recommendation – 10 to 20% with 20% as absolute max. Now divide this by the number of times you want to shop in a month – say 4 times (once a week). Write down the maximum amount you will spend on each shopping trip.
I ONLY BUY THE BEST
It’s tough to say no to shop girls when they show the latest age defying skin cream or when you see 10$ dresses in a show window. Practice saying to yourself – “I only buy the best” and you will confidently be able to say no to deals.
PAY WITH CASH
For all the shopping you want but don’t necessary need the white dress you must have because you have nothing to match the white pumps you got 3 months ago – PAY WITH CASH. Use your ATM card or withdraw cash and pay – this way you will know how much you are spending and what is left with you. It’s an automatic short cut to controlled spending.
CREDIT CARD 1/25 RULE
Have only 1 credit card for shopping. That card’s credit limit must be 25% of your monthly income. That’s it. Once you do this, you will never have any credit card debt. Even if you are unable to pay once or twice on time, the damage will be minimal.
3 TRIPS SHOPPING
This is a magic trick. Whenever you steps out to shop, you takes 3 trips to make the purchase. First trip she browses to shortlist, second trip she tries on and sees how it looks. On the third trip, you buy. This way, all the things you likes only superficially fall away after the second visit and you ends up buying only great stuff that you really loves.
Aseem’s law is powerful -“If a woman can buy it, it will be bought” and it will keep coming back to you. But if you start on any of these 5 methods today, be sure that tomorrow you can have the pleasure of guilt free shopping. Again, again and again...
By now, I just telling myself just buy the things that I really needed and it’s always under budget!
Create the new shopping list on July carefully with the 5 ways.
PS: Howbeit I love you, but that's none of your business.
